Riverside Pizza was started by a husband and wife team who had a vision to create a restaurant that upholds traditional values, provides excellent food and unprecedented customer service. This dream became a reality in 1999 with our first Riverside Pizza location in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our proven recipe for success has enabled us to open 6 company owned locations and 4 Franchise locations.

About The Owners
Al Thompson has been in the restaurant industry since 1971. His experience includes being the regional Vice President for a national food chain, responsible for operations, marketing and real estate needs for various regions. This background and hands on experience was fundamental in the development of Riverside Pizza. He developed the unique recipes and operating system for our restaurants.
Sandy Thompson has a BBA in marketing and business management. She has devoted her marketing career to working in the fast food industry. She has worked for Atlanta based advertising agencies and was involved in the marketing for Wendy’s and Little Caesars restaurants.
About Our Management TeamBrandon Thompson, Director of Franchise & Company Operations
Brandon Thompson was a low voltage engineer when he realized he wanted to be a part of our family business. He moved from Detroit Michigan in 2008 and started his new career as an entry level Manager Trainee.
Through his dedication to learn and excel, he was promoted to General Store Manager. He soon showed his management skills as a team leader and he began the job of training employees for new store openings.
His current position is Director of Franchise & Company Operations where he currently oversees 2 company locations and all three Franchise locations
Bryce Armes, Director of Company Operations
Bryce started working for Riverside Pizza in January 2008. After successfully managing the Riverside Pkwy., Lawrenceville location, Bryce was promoted to Area Manager in 2015.
In 2017 Bryce became Director of Company Operations. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the company stores and is instrumental as part of our team.
